RE: UMBRELLAS?????
Just curious but how many times have any of you complaining about the umbrellas been held up. Sounds like a everyday thing with you people. Like some of the others said if you want to use it bring one.If you don't leave it at home. Seems to me the guy who started this post has never shot a national event, heard about the umbrellas through some friends probably HC class. Well I think there should be a speed limit in the HC class like 260 fps. See rules can be for everyone. You might not like them but you have to follow them. For all who shoot the beanfield at Nelsonville in the late morning and early afternoon be greatful for the umbrella rule. Just shoot your game and be happy we have a great organization that can set these events up for us to enjoy.

Jetro why 260 my hunting setup is alot faster than 260fps? At one time my hunting set up was 318fps with a 2413 and 100gr head talk about KN. Id just like to see all the rules that are already out there be enforced.

Seems to me if the guys that are complaining about the umbrellas would win a national tournament I bet you wouldnt here a word out of them. Practice perfect practice and you can be on top as long as you have a great mental game.

Clearwater Storm Shooter,
Sorry my sarcasm wasn't more evident in my post!
My point was, it's a total joke that some of the people complaining about umbrellas are out there shooting glue in nibs, lenses, scopes, metal launchers, no quiver, long stabelizers, movable pins, and no string silencers, all while wearing shorts, tennis shoes, bright shirts, bright hat, and generally any type of other clothing not defined as hunting clothing, but want to take away umbrellas because this is a "hunting" sport?
Like I said, whether people intended it this way or not, this is not a hunting sport, but is typically viewed as a shooting sport for hunters-big difference, or we'd all be shooting from tree-stands, in full camo, face masks, quiet bows, and a restroom shaped like a bottle standing in the corner.

Stealth Force, you want to get rid of all the fancy stuff that the pro class uses and go with a pro hunter class? OK, thats fine! Want me to tell you now, before the shoot starts who will win? How about Hopkins, Likens, Stepp, Tazza, Caudle, Ketcher, Boothe, Brooks, Conner, and a few others that win in the pro class now. They win for a reason, they are the best at what they do. You can make them shoot the same equipment as me and you, and guess what? We get a real whipping!

RE: UMBRELLAS?????
I don't care WHO wins. Even BETTER if the top guys would win, PROVING it's the MAN (or woman) NOT the bow/scope/umbrella, and that Joe hunter got beat by a great archer...not out spent on equipment. BTW, I do have most of the true target kit (long stab, micro adjust scope, etc etc) I just feel wierd shooting a gator with all that stuff. So I just save it for spots.
