800-1000 shooters to shoot finals where were they
just wondering ibo officials said there would be 800 to 1000 shooters shooting sunday i didnt see that many names posted heck they couldnt even tell us were the cut off was for the mbo classes very poor decisions based on the ibo
maybe its time to get someone to run they ibo for the shooters and hunters and not the bussiness

New people to run the IBO sound great. It might actually turn into an organization for shooters. How is that going to be acomplished though? A self appointed president with a board of members he appointed...hmmm I don' t see how we can do it. Is ken' s last name Hitler or Hussein by chance. As shooter' s we need to do something before the whole sport is lost.

they should have let everyone shoot on sunday, use saturdays times, and the winner would come from a overall of 40 targets. i shoot mbo and understand the different range combo' s. but thousands of shooters got screwed this weekend.

are you going to take over for ken, or 60x or maybe deviator98,seems you' ve got it all figured out. Go shoot the asa shoots, they' re no better , i' ve shot several in the last couple of years, and what are they doing to protect my rights to bowhunt? YOU GUYS NEED TO RUN FOR IBO STAFF POSITIONS OR SHUT UP!!!!!!

Hmmm I like that idea but I doubt if it would work. Isn' t the only way to get on the IBO board is to be one of Ken' s butt buddies so he' ll appoint you thus reassuring himself that he' s safe as the pres? Yeah ASA' s are no better....a shotgun start at 8:00am and you know you' re off the course around noon with no waiting on targets. That sure beats setting in lines at every target on an IBO course. Nice short walks between targets at ASA' s....that' s sure beats repelling off of cliffs and sliding down rocky bluff' s at IBO' s.

Nobody should be telling anyone to run or shut up. Everybody has a right to be heard and in this case to be upset. There are many valid points being made in the forums with no evidence being submitted to the contrary. Shooters spent a lot of $ and took vacation time to attend half an event. Nobody is saying that there wasn' t a difficult situation. However, it appears-once again-that there was no game plan in place. People have a right to complain. Also, part of being in the administration includes taking criticism and listening to the body gripe. Running a shoot is not easy, but the paying shooters have a right to expect certain things for their involvement. I shoot both IBO and ASA. There is a place for both, but I am partial to the ASA. In my opinion there is a difference with a big plus going to the ASA organization.

everything that happened saturday was a cluster ****, no one knew what to do, the people at our tent said hold onto cards, then said sign and turn in, then gave cards back to people that stayed around. first they said the shoot was over, then we may go back out, then it was over.
heard that everyone was shooting sunday, then the top 20, then the top 5, even heard that the final scores from friday is what they would go by.
we need better communication from ken, there needs to be a plan for when things like this happen. there is no excuse for poor communications.
also at this point the only one i can blame is ken, because i have no other info to go on. i come off the course and see all of snowshoes activities going on but the ibo is shut down. i would have to assume that the ibo made the call. i am sure that ken saw the snowshoe activities going on, so if they said call it off, he should be asking them how safe are the people doing other things. how was i any safer on the ski lift then in the woods.

rules 2,3, 3a, deal with score cards, yet saturday morning we were given our cards back and told to hold them. the ibo can' t even follow the rules when they call off a shoot. cards should have been signed and turned in, where is the proof of the scores that were shot on friday. if the cards were not turned in doesnt that mean everyone is disqualified?
