I agree with LXrocker, he/she sounds like a western PA shooter with a realistic view.

If you really think the IBO DIDN' T have the shooters safety in mind you are dead wrong. After seeing someone get hit by lighting at an IBO event you tend to take these situations a little more serious. I am glad I just am able to live to shoot next year and shoot again. You guys need to lighten up it is not the end of the world their is always next year and rember if you take the fun out of archery it becomes just another job. Brian

If safety was the big concern then why wasn' t everything on the mountain shut down? If it was to slippery then that is the IB0' s fault for laying them out that way. Either way archery took a big hit this past weekend. ASA is looking much better. I won' t return to Snowshoe.

Well.........it' s another fine year at Snowshoe Mountain! This was our 3rd year coming to the World' s at SSM. Every year the weather causes problems with the shoot. What does that tell ya!???????? I think it only makes sense to find another place to hold this event. I have heard people talking about how great it was when it was held at Peak N' Peak in PA. What happened there?? I have no clue! Why is it always being held at a place where the weather is so unpredictable??????? Is the IBO making a lot of money off having it at Snowshoe?

It also seems that every year the vendors are getting less and less. It' s not like you are in an area where you can go somewhere else and do some shopping that is less than a 100 miles away for the families.

We always come yearly and stay Wednesday through Monday. It is very expensive and when the weather dictates shooting or no shooting.... It' s is time to seriously sit and down and figure out a new place for this event. Luckily when we do the Indoor Worlds, it seems to go a lot smoother!

Come on IBO, I think your shooter numbers are going to be down next year.... What are the numbers of shooters that attended in the last 4 years..... I believe the numbers are dropping more and more every year......Am I right?
