Meeting to form Southern Md. Branch for QDMA announced
QUALITY DEER MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION
Attention landowners, hunters, and managers: QDMA is forming
a branch in the Southern Maryland region!
The QDMA is a non-profit wildlife conservation organization dedicated to promoting sustainable, high-quality, white-tailed deer populations, wildlife habitats and ethical hunting experiences through education, research, and management in partnership with hunters, landowners, natural resource professionals, and the public. Involvement in the QDMA extends a hunter’s role from mere consumer to manager. QDM, in part, is the use of restraint in harvesting young bucks combined with an adequate harvest of female deer to maintain a healthy herd in balance with existing habitat conditions.
This meeting is open to both members and non-members, and anyone wishing to learn more about QDMA. If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to be kept up to date with the branch activity in your area, contact us at the addresses below.
DATE: Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 4:00pm
PLACE: Southern Maryland Archery Club, Cheltenham, MD (The public dove field area)
RSVP: via email [email protected] or phone Ray or Judy Hayes at 301-609-7265
Or email myself at [email protected]

RE: Meeting to form Southern Md. Branch for QDMA announced
I joined QDMA 4 years ago.I've attended 3 meetings where the QDMA reps have been present. No matter how long you've hunted or how set in your ways, you will walk away with a new a outlook on some aspect of Deer hunting or management techniques.
You also receive a great magizine every 2-3 months. IMO without a doubt, QDMA is the most informative Deer hunting organization you could be associated with. Try it You'll Like It!
