Good Luck to all DE Archery Hunters!
Now that i'm done failing the Audit Section of the CPA Exam I can really get up for tomorrows hunt! Im all packed and ready to go. Shot the bow one last time at 15, 25 and 35yds with field points and Steelheads and I am getting good groups. If the wind holds, the longest possible shot i'll have tomorrow morning is 20 yds at the planned set up spot so I should be good to go. As long as I can control the old Buck Fever!
I'll post the hunt tomorrow. Once again, Good Luck to all and be safe!

RE: Good Luck to all DE Archery Hunters!
Well, it was a nice morning weather wise, but little deer activity. I saw one doe working along the bean field but she never got anywhere near close for a shot. I'll give it another shot on Saturday.
The biggest suprise to me is that nearly no one hunted the public land right down the road. There are 4 tracts to hunt and 1 tract had 4 hunters sign in and the other 3 had 0! Last year it was packed. Granted, last years opener was on Labor Day so I figured there would be less people, but thats rediculus. It was a beautiful morning. Guess it just wasnt worth a Vaca day for most people. I will tuck this fact away for next year because if I'd known no one would be at the public place I usually hunt, i would have been there today. I have 4 good spots for the wind we had this morning. I wonder if the QDM regs had anything to do with it?
Anyone else venture out this morning or afternoon?
