Combining all 3 weapons? I know that no.1gamewarden--who used to post here--was pushing it big time. It sounded to me like it was his idea. To a devoted bowhunter like me, it would be a nightmare.

And a Sept 1st bow opener holds little appeal to me either. True, I love to get out bowhunting, but it's already too hot for the first 3-4 weeks. Before Sept 15th it's hotter than a foot blister!

Thanks for the welcome Sideways, I got some good news for you guys talked to a game warden tongiht and the bag limits for this area will be 10 does and two bucks, and then they have a new thing this year where in suburban area its unlimited does, mainly Pg county, the new regs will be out soon, they are at the printers according to him. there wer some other changes but the deer one was the biggest one for me, I am taking the hunters safety class with my daugther, I took the class 16 years ago in Washingotn state and its nice to have a refresher!

The 2004 regulations are now posted on the naturla resources web site. Opening day is the 15th.
Looks like the state is now split into 2 regions (A&B)

Just bustin' your chops SW. I don't know how the new regs have affected you and your group, but where I hunt in Western Maryland, we were never even permitted to kill more than one deer in a day. This is quite a change for us.
