yep you would be wrong, I live in the southertier of new york, out of ceriousty why would you think that was a texas deer? I have never hunted in texas, so i myself would have no idea how to tell the difference.

I live in the southern tier of new york, Elmira that is, I hunt in stueben, schuyler,and chemung county's. that pic is of a stueben county deer,btw what do you mean,( show me what they are supposed to look like) I think he looks just fine to me, heck if you want your more than welcome to come hunting with me this fall, or spring turkey is just around the corner, Iam always up for new hunting buddy"s plenty more deer like him where I hunt, if I can find the pic of the 8 pointer I got last year I'll put them up, in the 140 class. we do alot of deer management, foodplots we try to produce good deer.

I see what you ment by the color of his coat and antlers, on the last pic you put up he looks the same way light gray coat and dark mahogany color antlers, those are nice deer...like you said, where exactly do you live, lol.

Hey devil is that southern tier of NY shotgun or can you use rifle. I sometimes go to Lawrenceville and hang a left for Potter County, Pa. I was told it is shotgun only..
