PA hunter takes Booner in Illinois
Scott Krauser of Lancaster, PA, took a week off of school to hunt with three buddies in Calhoun County in western Illinois.
Scott took this 174" 10 point typical on the fourth morning of his November 2003 hunt.
The buck's story was recently featured on the Buckmasters web site under the title 'Scott's Illinois Booner'.
Good job Scott!
Scott is shown on the right. Reading PA resident, Dennis Stufflet, one of his companions on the hunt, is shown on the left.

RE: PA hunter takes Booner in Illinois
The buck was taken in Calhoun County near Hardin,IL. That is about 70 miles south of Mt Sterling.
Brows were about 5"
G2's almost 10
G3's went 12"
G4's went about 6"
Beams went about 26"
Spread was about 18"
Nice mass too.
I think he was a 4 year old.
