Posting on here doesn't help, you have to contact the legislators and what not if you really do want Sunday hunting.

T_in_PA I meant are they still considering it. I know at one time they were, but I don't know how far it got.

PAhunter86, you are right. We should all write to the man and tell him we wan't sunday hunting.

I won't be hunting in PA for a few years, but I am willing to help get you guys/gals sunday hunting. We have it here in UT, and it is great.

Timing is everthing in the political world. All the stars need to be aligned to get something through. You don't want to attempt getting a bill through unless you know you have the support to do it. I don't think there is enough support to change Sunday hunting YET. Keep working at it though. At this point though I don't think anything has reached the House Game & Fisheries committee for consideration. There needs to be a show of support and some reps to propose some changes, like the 50 yard archery safety zone statewide is going through.

Was introduced and made it out of the House Fish & Game Committee then voted and passed by the House earlier this year. It now sits with the Senate which doesn't seem to be moving on it real quick. If passed the archery safety zone would be 50 yards statewide instead of just the SRA areas.

For archery only, 50 yard safety zone in the Special Regulation Area (around Philly & Pittsburgh), 150 yards the rest of the state.
