Snow!!!
I was sitting in school today, bored out of my mind, but still trying to pay attention like usual, and glanced out of the window and seen the snow had finally changed to snow, and was so happy. The whole day seemed to go better, and faster after that. All I can say though is that I hope we have some for the first day because these last couple years with no snow (around here anyways) have been bad, and just didn' t seem like rifle season by any means.

BITE YOUR TOUNGUES PEOPLE! Lets be optimistic and hope for the best!
The Best:
-2.5" of snow on the ground for Monday morning
-Stable temp at 30 degrees
-Winds out of the W, NW @ 1-2 MPH
-Partly cloudy
Well maybe that' s just the " Best" for me and my hunting crew.

I hate to break it to you folks but I checked the weather this am an it says high of 57 with a 30% chance of rain, once again a crappy opening day in PA. But i' ll still be out there plugging away waiting for that change at that deer. Good luck you guys. I will be hunting in Juniata County near Mifflintown.

Don' t worry about the weather. You' re in your stand for 20 minutes, a big 10-point walks by (broadside), you drop it in its tacks (no tracking in the rain) and your back at camp before 8:00am. You have a nice breakfast and nap and you head to the butcher to show off your trophy. Yeah right.

RE: Snow!!!
I just saw the weather report from channel 16 WNEP and that have snow and rain for Monday. I hope it is more snow. We had an inch last night and I got to see several tracks. I sure would like to follow them and get a feel for where they are at.
