West Virginia Rifle Hunters....Good Luck Tomorrow!!
Good Luck Guys and Gals for tomorrows opener, and the next several weeks.
Hunt hard, and be Safe! Looks like the weather just may cooperate for a change. Well......we can hope anyway.
Its not what you harvest.....
Its what you learn....

It didnt, at 5:30am is was 60 degrees and dry, by 8:00 is was pouring the rain and droppin in temperature, by noon it was 30 and puttin down the snow. Didnt hear of a whole lot of action, on the farm we hunt there was a 10 and an 8 taken both about 15 inches nothing great. Saw a few more scrubs at the check-in, hopin for a better day tommorrow they were really starting to move this evening after it cleared up but man is it cold out now.

Hoythunter48, I just came online to give an update and check this post. lol
You pretty much stated the exact same thing I was going to say.
With the exception that when they started moving this evening....the bucks I' m watching were still on the hoof along with 6-7 does. Today I did not see anything! Oh, I forgot I jumped a fork horn, and a doe. Nothing moving really....dang weird weather anyway!! Rumour has it that a 14pt was taken several miles away from me but ....other than that folks were taking does if they saw them.
It' s gonna be dang cold tomorrow AM but....should be a better day, and a better week with this cool down. Good Luck folks!
