Sunday hunting coming to PA
Recently, I sent an email off to my Senator, Charles Lemmond regarding hunting on Sundays. He sent me a response stating that they are enacting legislation to allow for some hunting on Sundays in PA.
There are three house bills that have been introduced that would amend section 2303 of the PA Game code by providing exceptions for hunting deer on Sundays.
House bill 326 would allow using firearms on State Game Lands and State Forests where hunting is permitted, but only antlered deer. The other two bills would allow for hunting deer in special reglation areas and commercial or noncommercial regulated hunting grounds holding a valid permit.
All three bills were introduced and referred to the Game and Fisheries committee for review.
It' s not full blown hunting, buck and does, and it' s only on State property, but at lease it' s a start.
I just wanted PA hunters to know what is happening....

RE: Sunday hunting coming to PA
From what I hear about PA Sunday Hunting Bills the G&F Committee are the ones blocking the issue.
You might want to push your Legislators a little harder to get the Committee to do something, even if it' s just holding public hearings.
