Heard from some of my buddies that there may be a new delaware state archery record was taken this year. I was wondering if any one had heard anything about this. If anyone has any info or pics I would like to hear about it.

and i thought that i was going to get my shot at it. i havent heard, but teh guys here that hunt are rather silent. i will contact shooters and ask john...that is on rt 13 if u want to call yourself. thanks for the info

They take some really respectable bucks out of Delaware. I remember reading an article in North American Whitetail a few years back when one of the Delaware records was broken. A beautiful buck it definitely was.

A possible state record was taken by a guy (from the Millsboro area) that I work with , during shotgun season.
The deer was shot in the Ellendale area. It has 17 scorable points , LOTS OF MASS , a drop tine on the right beam that is about 12 inches long and forks about the last 4 inches. It also had a drop tine on the left beam that had been broken off. It's not got alot of width (something like 17" inside) but lots of mass and tine length. From what I'm hearing it will go somehere around 200 inches. I've seen pictures of this deer , and it is a real brute!!!
