I was out Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I saw no rutting activity in my areas. Thursday I saw all of 3 deer, one doe, one spike, and one unidentified at about 100+ yards. Friday I saw no deer at all, but my buddy was hunting about 50 yards away and saw 5 deer a ways off....unidentified through heavy timber and brush. Saturday it was much colder and at 6:45am I saw a good buck that I thought was an 8 pt....turned out to be a 10 with really good mass and long tines, 16" inside. He' ll be on my wall in the spring! Saw a scrawny racked 7 or 8 about an hour later and saw a small buck but couldn' t tell if it was legal or not. I grunted one in last night but the shot was wrong...
