Use some tact and find out if her kids, nieces, nephews, etc. play football or soccer.

Then everytime you read about some athlete left paralized or dead from an injury or heart/respritory problem on the field......." see some poor kid dead cause of stupid football or soccer"

OR

Give her the facts about how many people die from doctors mistakes every year. The number is staggering! " Some poor guy dead cause his doctor did an operation-Stupid doctors"

That is IF you would even want to be speaking with her. Probobly have a more intelligent conversation with a rock or tree.
