If there is any increase in the harvest this season just past, according to pgc it was because of the weather on the first day last year saving deer. SO if the harvest happens to increase slightly it would be because of that and not any managing for more deer. The allocation will not be lowered or possibly rise if that is the case, so I wouldnt get too excited.

Course another year has gone by, gestures of nothingness by pgc in the form of trying tofool us with insignificant changes failedand our fine legislators havent cracked the piggy bank for pgc. So you just never know what the coming year or two might bring.

The funny thing is that the herds in the northern tier counties peaked in the 70's. Apparently Denny is admitting that hunter perceptions vary so much that they only reflect the attitude of that individual hunter and should have no effect on how the herd should be managed.
