Cornelious, very good, valid points. I see where you're coming from there.

Sproul, I believe I read that 1X is the only magnification that is allowed.

I'm pissed about this whole crossbow thing, even though it really won't affect me in any way. I just see this as a win for the PGC's wallet and a loss for the archery hunters.

I may be wrong, but archery hunting has exploded in popularity in the past 10 or so years. It's everywhere. Most deer hunting shows on TV are done with a bow, lots of commercials, etc., etc. I read somewhere that PA has more archery hunters now than ever. So why the need for crossbows?Money and pressure from the wrong places, thats why.

muzz, now that is one dumb thing, its bad enough that hunters that will use crossbow, now make it harder for them to see deer and use the yardage lines in scope THAT ARE ON BOWS NOW, THEY ARE 4X WITH YARDGAE LINES..

THATS GREAT, MORE WOUNDED DEER.

then you have older folks who cant see out of a 1x scope, MORE WOUNDED DEER.

bunch of clowns in harrisburg, for sure.
