Our group has killed 4 birds so far. One on the first day of the early youth season, 2 on opening day, and I killed mine on tuesday. All but the youth kill were with bow and arrow, and all four were videod from two different camera angles.......on state game lands.

BTW, had another friend out this morning, and had two gobblers coming in strong about 8am. They closed the gap to 20 yards, and we were just burning tape for a good video when both birds took to the air?[&:]

Looked behind us, and here is a hunter with no orange on, trying to sneak in on them.[:@]

Besides being unsafe, it is illegal. Should have reported him, but we were mad enough to spit, so we just packed up decoys, blinds, and two full sized video cameras, and headed for the truck. Tomorrow is another day.

Not sure if you were referring to no orange as being illegal but that law was repelled.

I have heard that the orange law while moving was repealed, although I have not seen it in writing. Stalking the birds is illegal for sure, not to mention the fact that the guy could obviously hear me call, and both toms would answer every single time.

BTW, regardless of the law, you will not catch me moving during daylight hours without flo orange on......I have had two encounters with hunters stalking birds coming to my calls this season alone! And the season is only 5 day old.[&:]

These dang state game lands are getting ridiculous!!!

Took 3 shotgun hunters out this morning, one of them had two tags.

Within 60 minutes we had 4 more birds killed on tape!!!

I guess I will have to get busy on sunday and get some pics downloaded.....
