If RSB knows people with radios are calling for tags, what is he doing about it? What is his arrest record in that area? Or is this just more of the same old "I was told that............." ??

he saw i was being snowballed for telling it like it is.
i guess you could say he was sticking up for my comments even tho we disagree on almost everything.
when there was LOTS of deer it was not necessary to shoot someone elses deer, next drive you would get a deer.
NOW, no way .deer are not there.
if we as sportsman dont get that 3 point to side FOR ALL OF US,i cant see buck hunting getting any better.
you should see faces on hunters i talk to when i told them story of my 6 point that i could not see brow tine and almost lost the buck in fog that first day.
their faces were easy to see what they would have done, THEY WOULD HAVE SHOT..
no one is COUNTING points with junior license available.

I have no idea why a Junior should be able to shoot a young buck. Aren't we focusing too much on the youngster killing a deer rather than gaining a full understanding of this great sport. He should be allowed to at least see a few deer and then should "HUNT" for a mature deer.

Repeat - My problem is that in many many public ground areas the Excessive qty of doe tags, and the junior/senior free for all have made it almost impossible to even see a deer. The Juniors/Seniors killing the only young one left is not going to help rebuild the herds after Alt's slaughter.

While I agree that the issue of adults shooting buck for juniors is a problem that should be addressed, I think a bigger problem is that the PGC is still reducing the herd in most WMU's while claiming they are trying to keep the herd stable in all but 3 WMUs,2B ,5C and 5D. The PGC data shows that the herd is still being reduced in at least 14 of the 22 WMUs in the state. As the herd is reduced even more, adults shooting buck for juniors will become an even more serious problem.

thank you too both of you, your comments have GRIT.
if the ADULTS would let juniors shoot their own deer, i would be in favor ofway it is now.
you dont have that many juniors hunting and they cant be in same place as that spike buck would be most of time.
so, a small buck could make it through to be mature.
we had last year 4 juniors in our crew.
the 3 small bucks we saw all came out to ADULTS and got away.
in came crew 2 days later with some kids.
samearea.
they put on drive and guess what..
for some reason all smallbuck came out to kids.hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
i guess this could happen,,,,,,,,,,,,

I can't for the life of me see why an adult would shoot a small buck for his kid. What does that teach our kids...to be outlaws?? Not only that , but you are taking away the thrill of the harvest when it's the kids who need to feel that thrill and want to continue hunting as an adult.
I believe that this needs to be a permenant revocation of your hunting privlidges. I also realize that the PGC is limited in manpower to enfore a lot of the game laws. I see this as a major problem for enforcement. I don't think that this would happen if an adult knew he was possibly being watched. It's sad , but an outlaw is an outlaw.
To address the "seniors" right to hunt a small buck..I say NO!!! There is a sound reason for a youth hunter to be able to kill a small buck, but not a senior. You're not trying to get seniors interested in hunting. I think this is counter-productive to the message the PGC is trying to send.

Antler restrictions did not improve breeding rates, recruitment or productivity and it also failed to decrease the problem of late born fawns. Therefore the simplest solution to the problem is to repeal ARs statewide.

father said,MY KID SHOT IT,senior knows kid did not but who is PROVE it.
just today i was out stocking trout for kids ,we had great time.
then retireddeputy warden stopped to talk to me.
he said,SPROUL CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT A JUNIOR HUNTER WOULD JUMP OUT OF A TRUCK ROAD HUNTING WITH BOW, YES BOW AND TRIED TO SHOOT A TURKEY IN ROAD.
this is youth hunt week for turkey, what is that dad teaching that kid.
what we must all do is write or go meeting and get the horn restriction for kids STOPPED.
next, we must report these people but its hard to see or prove.
i have NO idea at present way it is that things are going to be better .
i agree with you, what is kid going to learn if dad is shooting buck.he will grow up and do same thing.
this BROWN ITS DOWN WITH AVAILABLE KIDS TAG must stop, only way is make it 3 points to side,THEN,YES THEN adults will have to look at points and BROWN ITS DOWN WILL STOP.
already at last meeting i attended , i spoke of this.
almost half of hunters said,SPROUL THEY WILL STILL SHOOT AND CHECK POINTS ON GROUND AND LEAVE TO BUCK TO ROT.
these are same hunters THAT ARE HAPPY way things are, they have over 6 juniors in their crew and RECURITING more.
as paul harvey says,GOOD DAY!
