Are you forgetting that anyone can read the boards without registering or posting. I have been following RSB's posts on several boards and always get a laugh out the way he manipulates and ignores data and disagrees with the experts like Dr. Rosenberry.
RSB happens to be the one WCO that told me adults are shooting deer then calling on radio to bring up tags.
at least he admitts what is going on and trys to stop it.

btbowhunter believes it is not happening, very sad or maybe he has his head in sand.

first, hunters doing this are NOT POACHERS ,they are average dad or uncle, cousin etc.

these are not bad people only people that are trying to see that their kids get a deer or CREW gets the meat.

with price of meat, no one is going to let deer walk if they have kid along.

enough of this righjt now, back to RSB .

we disagree all time on most of his comments.

i used to see 100 deer between wykoff run and keating ,pa.

this is about 15 miles on highway..

RSB drives it and says to me,SPROULE I SAW 13 DEER ,WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE IS NO DEER.

wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll,i will let all of you think on that one,you have to laugh.
The fact that you don't see a problem with sighting 100 deer in a drive of 11.26 miles through habitat that's mostly pole timber tells all of us you need to get your head out of the sand and that beer out of your hand!

If they are tagging deer illeagely, they are poachers!!!
And they are teaching their kids to poach.

Unbeleivable that Sproul would defend the poachers that abuse the law while still demanding that we change it and consequently penalize kids that do obey the law. Sad, really sad.[:'(]

steve,in most hunters eyes, the POACHER is someone who shoots deer at night or out of season.

IN SEASON,during regular hunting hours,no, most that do illegal things dont feel they are POACHER.

most feel its way things are, road hunting, shooting another deer and have someone tag itwithout looking at points with a kid along is norm.

i also dont put these people in same as POACHER.

most are dads and kids along in crews trying to fill many tags, like i said, no way most are going to leave a deer godo to lack of deer.

i had crews tell me they did not see a deer in 3 days of hunting..

you think they are going to let a deer go if they do see it.
not being smart ,only this is way it is now and RADIOS tell it all on what is happening.

i have not seen this happening but I KNOW it is from people i hear saying they saw it.
most will not report what they see, that norm too.

as you should, but it is hard to see it happening.
with RADIOS,they can cover their tracks real good.

all years i hunted we would see WCO at least 1 time a day and he would stop and talk etc.

NO ONE is seeing a WCO much in clinton county,so, these people have what the kids call NO FEAR.

no one is checking and that is reason so much of this is going on..

how many WCO are out checking to see if kid really did get that buck.

NONE.............

From Wbsters dictionary:

poacher

2 entries found.

poacher[1,noun]poacher[2,noun]

Main Entry:
1poach·er
Pronunciation:
\ˈpō-chər\
Function:
noun
Etymology:
2poach
Date:
1614
1 :one that trespasses or steals 2 :one who kills or takes wild animals (as game or fish) illegally

Passively not turning in poachers is bad enough.

When someone actively defends and rationalizes the intentional illegal acts of the poachers it makesthat personevery bitas despicable as the poachers they defend.

Got to disagree Sproul.

If they are taking deer illegally, they are poachers and not hunters. Regardless of their excuses.
