Personally, I don't think it is a big problem, but there are always going to be outlaws who have no regard for the deer herd or other hunters. These are likely the same guys who will shoot a deer or two or three or four out of season, at night, over bait and so on.

This is a huge question where ethics definately comes into play. Would a person get caught if he shot a deer and had his youth tag it? Probably not. But the slob hunter that does this is not only violating the rules and the ethics, but he/she is teaching his/her youngster that it's OK to do the same. If I were to observe this happening, I would report it. But it would be his word against mine, unless the youth spoke up for what is right.

in a small town or area ,everyone knows everyone and most WILL not report it.
then throw in a kid looking up with those big eyes and HUGE smile, most will walk away and not report it.
its hard to see someone doing this.
then throw in radios and it gets covered up REAL QUICK.
WCO in elk county even AGREED with me on radios, he said he hears it all time and here is what he hears.
HEY, WCO IS AROUND,BRING OVER SOME MORE TAGS.
he stated that many times in other forums.
he is telling TRUTH.
these are not bad people in life or on street, they may be your neighbor, good family, great kids, great dad..
this just did not start now anyhow, it was big thing to bring a buck home for most, get kid and take picture that he shot it..
i have no problem with that but DAD legally shot buck and used his adult tag.
this worthless system now, adult can shoot buck and get kids tag on deer and shoot another..
that is where i am pissed, then throw in mentoured thing, you dont even need tag..
is this fair to others that play by rules ?no.......
if it was 3 points to side for all of us,then these brown its down with kids tag hunterswould have to LOOK before they shoot..
this would stop most of these violations, not perfect but its better than what is happening now.

There will always be people out there who ignore the law and there will always be people out there who defnd lawbreakers because they are "good people" Changing the law will not stop lawbreakers, it will only penalize those who obey it.
Sproul you remind me of one those bleeding heart liberals who would protest the execution of a mass murderer and the next day, attend a gun control rally![:'(]

Yea it is a problem..... I know of people that shoot any buck, if a kid shoots a six pointer or larger, the adults tag it, if an adult shoots a small one, a kid tags it....basically they are group hunters.... they never shoot over the tag limit, or tag small bucks with adult tags....they just shoot their "group" limit every year...it is against the law.

I just don't see this as a huge problem. The re will always be some outlaws though.
I'm a little surprised the poll is so close. Personally, I don't know anyone who conducts themselves in this fashion. To make matters worse, if you do know people that do this and turn a blind eye you are not helping the situaition one bit.
