RE: 19 point in Addison NY??
A guy my dad works with showed him a pic. yesterday of a 21-pt. that his nephew shot somewhere outside of Bath. He said that it was really wide with a bunch of junk but probably wouldn't score a whole lot. Might be the same deer?

Could be the same one. I live in Bath and own hunting land in Addison so I would be interested in seeing the deer and hearing the story if you get a pic....

big bucks contest = lots of spot lighting and road riding
dr kill

Also, there's a big difference between "spot-lighting" and jacklighting. I enjoy spolighting, especially during the summer when the bucks are still in bachelor groups. Last I knew that is perfectly legal here in NY...

I saw pictures of the buck the other day...It was taken in Curtis Hollow, Campbell...Appears to be the same the same gene pool as the Taft buck that was taken near there a couple of years ago..Remember the one with all the controversy because the head was shown looking as if it had been hacked uncerimoniously off of the body, with no concern for the cape..??..
Anyway, it's adownright bodacious nontypical, with heavy beams, mass out the a** and points all over...Regardless of what scores, it would be the trophy of a lifetime for most of us mere mortals..
