cold weather clothing
I need to set myself up for some serious cold weather hunting. What do you guys recommend? Outerwear, underwear, boots. Specific brand names and where to obtain. Any tips to keep warm? I get cold easy, but you have to be out there to get 'em. Assume $ is no object even though it is

I use a under armor base layer to wick away the sweat. Especially important for your feet.Try Eastern Mountain which hasa great selection ofhiking clothing. I hunt in WNY. Even though it's warm right now, I have hunted while temperatures are anywhere between 0-70. When it gets cold make sure you layer your clothes and wear wool. NO COTTON! I found insulated coveralls work better than a jacket becasue you don't get that draft up your back.

I agree i always start with under armor you don't have to spend a fortune on clothes just remember to layer properly the main objective is to keep as dry as possible like NYbowhunter said NO COTTON cotton is the worst thing you could wear ( wool , fleece , Lycra , silk ) these are all good . Cabala's have a good line of undergarment's at a reasonable price
