I've used vanilla for years...I put it in a spray bottle and spray my clothes down...Works great even though you smell like a big cookie...I've had deer as close as 5 feet and they never knew I was there...

I think I'll give vanilla a try. I asked a friend if he had heard about use vanilla as an attractant. He said he has tried it and it worked for him. He said just make sure you stick your scent bomb in a bush or hanging in on a branch or the deer will stomp the scent bomb to get at the attractant. I also read an article about using vanilla, licorice or anise as an attractant.

Never heard of it but I'll try it as well. Seems that there is something to it.

I tried it for the first time this year... .I didnt put it straight i cut it with a 12 oz. bottle of apple cider then soaked cotton balls and placed them into used film canisters and planted them 5o ft around my stand.......

Long story short... Freezer is full. ;-)

I have used it for years with great success, I go to mexican stores and buy the vanilla, it is stonger and get a qt. bottle for about $5 dollars , also i do not dilute it.
