i hunt in braxton county some. it's out past the airport, i can't remember the exact name of the road. My buddy owns about 80 acres
i'm wantin to say the name is Newville Rd. i could be wrong though
anyways, my pastor killed a 616lbs black bear out there a couple years ago
here's a pic of the head mount he got

I am in Barbour Co. never joined the contest though. What's up with that? Do we form a team of WV hunters???that would be cool. Someone fill me in. I tried to read it through but I am a head injury victim and it all started running together. Never really figured it all out.

Good Luck All,

Dave

Dryridge that would be cool to have an all WV team but what happens is everyone signs up and then Rob divides us all into different teams
there's no tellin what team we'd end up on. You oughta sign up, see what happens.

and travis that is johnny's bear. i wish he would have got a full body mount too. Ira offered to pay the difference to get a full body mount but johnny wouldn't let him. sucks

Sounds great, but frankly there should be two classes for the contest, mountain bucks, and cornfed flatlander bucks. Not fair otherwise.

Big thanks goes out to Redmag for referring me to a couple of people for permission to hunt there ground, and the land owner is going to allow me to bow hunt, and I am pumped. Also I am now in on the bow hunting contest....
