Default MR. LEHIGH VALLEY OUTDOORSMAN COMPETITION

The second annual MR. LEHIGH VALLEY OUTDOORSMAN COMPETITION is coming along great. Our MLVO coordinators Matt Bednar & Jen Rapchak have been working hard figuring out the competition details and building a small, but mighty army of MLVO staff members. This year’s competition will have several interesting and fun changes. Including a new improved Deer Dragging Coarse & and a Slippery Slimy Fish Throwing Contest!! This event is going to be lots of fun. Watch our website for details.

I was at the event last year... my family and I went to the Bowfair for several years. They have a great 50 target 3D shoot, and it is a ton of fun! Last year, was a neat growth from the Bowfair and name change to the Lehigh Valley Hunting & Fishing Extravangza. Unfortunately, the rain was insane! We werent able to shoot, but we had a great time. This competition was a lot of fun to watch. It seems there are a few changes this year, according to your fine website... a fish throwing contest? Thats pretty crazy! Do you think my son and I would be able to enter and still be able to shoot the 50 Target 3D shoot?

Attention readers, this is show is a ton of fun, and perfect during the off-season. I booked a great hunt last year, my son caught some trout, got amazing deals on my first crossbow (still hunt with the bow, of course), and met some great people. Looking forward to this year, don't miss it!!!

I would but ya'll don't want me kicking your buds in the competition...lol I'm kidding, too far away. Have a great time and it sounds like great fun. Please post pics if you get a chance when it's all said and done.

Rob,

You should come down. The event is only 6 miles from my house. I went to the Bowfair faithfully for many years but didn't make it to the LVHFE last year because of a work conflict and the rain. I hope to go this year though...at least one day.

Now wait a minute Rob/PA Bowyer, you are not even close to being to far away! Last year, there were a ton of guys from New Jersey and beyond. Hughesville, PA is a skip and a jump! Sorry Rob, but if you don't have what it take to compete, just say so... but too far? Did I hear, "Chicken!"

Just kiddin, but Rob it is worth the trip. A lot of guys camp out for the weekend. 50 Target 3D shoot, 50 Target Sporting Clay Course, Outdoorsmen Competition, archery novelty shoots, etc, etc, etc. There is plenty to do all 3 days. Bring your kids, there is no better way to spend some time with them and not spend over $100s! 22 caliper shoot, pellet shooting, trout fishing, Dart System shooting, archery course, hunting dog demonstrations. Plus, almost all of them are FREE. Hell, I am getting excited just writing about it and it is months away!

My kids can't wait, they have already been getting their bows ready! Now that is an awsome sight to see. Them getting excited to do something with there dad, and not staring at the TV.

Come on Rob, lets see if you outdoor skill can beat the local hunters.Got Outdoorsmen Trophy?
