Can you use rifles in Rockingham county for deer?

Default Can you use rifles in Rockingham county for deer?

I was told that I cannot use a rifle to hunt white tail deer in rockingham county is that true?

If your Talking about NH you better check the book no rifles south of rt 101

Depends on which town you're in. For instance, Portsmouth is a shotgun city, but I you're allowed rifles in Exeter, which is south of 101. It's in the book at any rate.
