This is the buck I shot in Illinois during archery season. Last day of the hunt at noon. I passed on two bucks earlier in teh week that were slightly bigger than this. I did see some 150" deer too far away, and a real bruiser that I have video of that probably scores 180" my guide said.
Hadley Creek Outfitters was an A+ oufit. Food was excellent, accomodations were excellent, guides were very knowledgable, hunting was excellent, treestand quality and locations were great. The weather was horrible the week of Nov5th-10th in the mid 70's, but I was still seeing quite a bit of deer activity.
My only complaint about the trip other than the weather which you can't control was 8 guys to one bathroom in the lodge I was in. Not too bad because some of the guys showered at night and some in the morning so it was ok. I plan to go back again in 2008.....
