Default NY, week 3 results?

3rdweek of gun hunting,
hopefully you guys did better than me, in 3 days of hard hunting all i saw was a cupple does, all action seems to be at night, i blame the weather...
as we were driving home we saw 3 deer at 2 diffrent places eating on the side of the road at 12 in the afternoon!, i thought that was a bit weird.

did see a nice 8 pointer on the back of a guys truck along with a doe.

howd you guys do so far?

Another slow weekend in 7R.Hunted 3 days and saw three tails.I agree the weather has shut them down.Im hunting PA tomorrow but with the warm weather it will probably be just as slow as NY.The weather calls for colder temps later in the week.

Dang, that darn deer musta had a rough time getting around in the woods with that piece of wood stuck to him like that! Good thing you put him out of his misery!! Nice buck.
Hunted Fri & Sat. not a single deer. Sat. I decided to go for a long walk, about 3 miles round trip through some state land, and not even a flag. Its been warm, but plenty cold enough in the early mornings. Sun. I came home, and rifle hunted N. Tier most the day. Still not a darn deer, took my last 2 stands down.

i found a brand new, HUGE scrape, its like 3 feet deep, and right next to it a new rub... the funny thing is my stand is 50 yards from there and a wide open shot, its like the buck is trying to mock me, and say HAHA im still alive, but ill never come out during the day.
