Ny Hunting Club
I have 4 serious hunters ready to start a club. we need 6 people to lease 200 acres at a decent per-hunter price yearly. This would be a long-term lease where we can build a cabin, post the land, and enjoy exclusive hunting rights. If you are interested, please contact me or see www.northeasternoutdoors.com for more information. Thanks!

Airborn, C&H is great to lease from. Thats what my piece is, and they will allow primitive camps built on their leased lands. We have a 20x20 2 story camp on ours. I'm not sure what C&H has left for lands to lease right now. Last time I spoke to Bob(head forester) all their pieces were leased out. But lease's are paid due in Jan., so maybe some will become avail. then. I'd def. call them, or e-mail. Another Timber Co. is Gutchess, but I don't think they allow cabins built.

I spoke to Bob last year, he said the best time to call is February because he'll know who's not paying for next year. How much land do you lease from them? We are looking for at least 200 acres.

We lease 75acres. 4 of us,myself, 2 brothers, and our dad.Started leasing it in 1998, had a camper on it. Built the camp. Has state in area if we want to hunt elsewhere in area as well. Were all from Northern Tier region, except 1 brother lives in Southern tier not far from camp. We decided on a southern tier lease, because it sucked only having a 2wk Northern archery season. Now we can bowhunt from 9/27 to 3rd wk Nov. I don't even touch a gun now until archery is done!
At the time C&H gave us 4 maps of different parcels to check out for lease. We liked this one the best. There was plenty of areas to chose from back then. Now everybodies leasing lands. So keep on Bob if your serious. C&H is real good to work with. They basically let you treat it as your own, long as you don't cut any tree's or be destructive to the land.
