RE: Southern NYer's count down
I watched two eights move in to the field that borders my opening day stand (per wind variations). Nothing like watching them mill about in the field for hours upon hours.
Luckily for me, I get to watch them from afar, so now comes the point where I spend an hour or two each week watching the entry point and what time they enter the field.

Hey guys....about a month to go. I got my new bow set up and shot it from my stand last Sunday. We cleared out 4 stands on the property, so we should be ready. GOOD LUCK!!!

Still waiting for my new Hoyt to come in then once that comes in, gotta get it set-up and shooting. On top of that I may be starting an unexpected job which will cut into my dreams of not having work andb eing able to hunt all week, lol, but it pays my student loans. Have some new land to hunt down by Wellsville and I guess there are some huge bucks running around on it including a droptine. Should be interesting...
