I hunt on 100 acres of private land that is mostly wooded. We have about 1o guys that have located stands everywhere on the property. I have a stand in an old apple orchard, 1 on the edge of yellow pines where there is a well worn path and I have 1 at the corner of a funnel area. I try to pick the stand based on the wind, buthat is difficult because the windseems to swirl a lot.
