I am in PA .I only use the decoy during the last week of the season in the begining of the rut. I have never had a large buck come in the decoy but I am sure they will & its a great way to spend a day.

big or small, I don't care. I figured it would be pretty neat. I'm sure large bucks would come to it if they saw the decoy. I've had some real nice deer just out of bow range, I tried grunting and they would just look and walk off. Put something there for them to see and I think they would come in. Do you rattle or just wait for something to come along?

Default Anyone use their 3D deer target as a decoy?

I know it would be heavier to move but some of the area'sI hunt in are not that far from the road.
I'm always looking for ways to save money.Except for when it comes to my weapons and safety.
