Rifles for deer in Steuben Co. NY ?
Has anybody heard anything more on the bill to let us use rifles in Steuben Co. for deer? Last I heard it was pretty much a given but haven't heard a thing since. Sure hope it passes. You would think the decision would be made well in advance of deer season but maybe that would make too much sense. Anyway, any input would be apreciated. Thanks!

Just an added note, I spoke with my local Assemblyman's office who stated that if it's not voted on by the end of June, it won't come up again until January of 2007, the feeling is that it will pass when voted on, it's just a matter of when it reaches the floor for a vote.
