You guys upstate better hope Suazzi doesn't make it into the governer's office, otherwise he'll do to you what he did to Nassau Co. I live on a 40X100 lotmy taxes went up to almost 14,000 bucks a year and on the rise again. There are more homes for sale here than ever before including mine and no one wants to come here.

I'm currently paying $1,200 per year for 10 acres and a house , which I think is way too much , and once my Homestead Mortgage Exemption kicks in that should go down by at least 30% . Your lot is 40' x 100' ? That's the approximate area of my driveway . I see why there are so many homes for sale there , you need to move too .
