It hasn't been proven to be a fake. It's just a bunch of "photoshop experts" posting opinions. In fact they even called and spoke with the actual hunter in the picture to which he gave his full story. Turns out he calculated the weight with a tape measue and a formula that the indian reservation where he shot it uses. There have been countless whitnesses who have seen it and reportedly bass pro is having it mounted. Granted, it sounds a little fishy and the pictures may be fake or they may not. Like I said, I'm no expert so I'm not even opening my mouth. The point is seems like people love coming on here saying "it's deffinately a fake" when they have no proof to back it up what so ever. For future reference just because someone posts their opinions doesn't make it true Here's some actual info and not just hearsay if you want to check it out.
