I got out on Saturday along with my cousin and another friend. Got a little wet and also worked on several deer stands. My cousin missed a big buck. We saw about a toatl of 20 deer but only one shooting oppurtunity. Just waiting till the big boys start moving as we have some real nice ones this year.

I took a nice doe last friday. but everytime I have been out I have seen tons and tons of deer. Also been seeing lots of deer here on the base at Andrews, I've seen several nice bucks, ysterday I saw a nice main frame 4x4 he was standing 15 yards from the road, could have taken him but didn't have to give the cops 24 hour notice when we want to go out and hunt. Gotta love being on the wildlife depradation team.

Mossy,

Yeah, I was hunting Monocasy, but don't worry, I wasn't hunting your tree. I was back where I hunted last year where Lefty and I got lost. Believe it or not, we found our way out this time!!! I posted his pic on the Scorecard thread on the bowhunting contest. We need to all get together and hunt again this year. I promise, we won't make you do a search and rescue mission this time!!

I believe the big bucks will really be searching the first week of November and then the rut the second week.

Hopefully the rain will be out of here for the weekend and the colder temps will arrive. [8D]
