have the bucks dropped their sheds here in illinois yet. i have been out looking and not finding seen a couple of bucks with them still up. i figured they would have dropped by now.

So far I've found 11 antlers in Va & Pa in the last 2 weeks. So I say keep looking...

I went out Friday and scored a big 0 on about 3 miles of walking. I know there are still a few carrying their head gear but most have dropped. I know my buddy down in Central Illinois has found 5 without doing much looking.

i was out again this past weekend and scored a big zero myself. i did spook about a dozen or so deer. seem to of found a nice little spot where they hang out, its a well traveled area lot of prints. i dont really want to go back and scare them away. i did find three buck skulls and one almost entire skeleton of a deer but no skull.

I went out yesterday and did'nt find a thing not even a Turtle shell I also did'nt see a deer.Makes me think the deer have changed there patterns.Maybe some of the bucks are still packing bone There is still another month of looking before it gets to thick and ticks get bad so dont give up.I still have a couple spots yet to look.

went out again yesterday and again nothing, my wife seems to be getting a little annoyed walking through under and over all the crap and coming up empty handed. she got a little frustration out yesterday when she trip over a branch which than came around and hit me in the head. oh well got a few more weekends, think i may train the dog to help but i need to find a shed before that happens.
