Live near Mankato. Deer hunt north of Dorset (the restaraunt capital of the U.S.). Went muzzle loading just south of Nicollet this year. Pheasant hunt where ever there are no pheasants.

I live in the Cities and hunt mostly up north of Lake Vermilion. We hunt ducks, deer and grouse pretty much full time in the fall. I also try to find places to bowhunt in the metro area but it isn' t easy to get away from the crowds.

Super X- I' ve spent a fair amount of time in the lake Vermillion area. I' ve fished and duck hunted on Pelican (by Orr), and Big Rice, I' ve also done some grouse hunting in that area too. My first time hunting Big Rice was also my first time hearing a pack of wolves, pretty neat! It' s nice up there away from the crowds!

I' m from the Faribault area. Do alot of pheasant hunting down here on private land (quite a bit of public land around but it gets hit pretty hard.) I also do some duck, deer, and grouse hunting near Longville. I went to South Dakota this past year chasing the pheasants and got spoiled (definitely going back!)[8D]

Buckmine, I just bought some land near Osakis this year and have hunted deer there for the last 21 years. I am originally from Alex and hunt the area all the time. Have you lived in Osakis long?
