Wisconsin to open a timberwolf season?

Given the uproar that came about when the subject of a mourning dove hunt was proposed, I'd find it hard to believe that the DNR would actually propose a wolf season. Too many anti-hunting nuts would keep that from happening, even if the population of wolves was in the thousands.

Just for a minute think this through. Hunters have been crapped on by almost everybody, the wolf glorified. Now that it is becoming a problem the bashers of hunters want hunters to bail them out. I say let the wolf run a muck and John and Francis Freak Pantload run screaming for their lives. Let them run the activist out ona rail. If hunters take care of the problem these people will continue bashing hunters and causing trouble and never be held accountable.
If a wolf is a threat kill it, it's delisted. If not let it go and cause trouble. They will soon enough pay hunters to kill the wolf again.
Let them choke on the things they've said and the way they've treated hunters.[:@]

Last deer season, I was hunting a bit north of Star Lake, Vilas County. Wolves have taken alot of deer from that area. For the 1st time ever in my camp, no one saw anything.
