WESTERN MICHIGAN???
As some of you already know.I have recently moved to Ludington with the Coast guard. And I have been spending an awful amount of time fishing and looking around for some places to hunt. My question to you is this. How receptive are local farmers in the area for gaining access to hunt their property? Where I am from in Idaho, I usually ask permission to hunt and offer a trade off of some sort. Like working around their place. Helping during hay season and once I even just rode this guys horses a couple times per month. So I am just wondering what kind of experiences you have all had in the area. Or if anyone knows someone who might be able to help me out or point me in the right direction. I appreciate any advice or information you are willing to share. Thanks so much.
