Ohio Archery Hunting, Which Week?

Can anybody tell me which would be a better week to bowhunt Holmes County, Ohio......the first week of the season (probably high temps)or Thanksgiving week (after the youth shotgun weekend)?

before the youth shot gun season bucks seemed to be in full rut this year. so base your hunt on that.

huntingson, my choices are the first week or Thanksgiving week (don't have the option of the week before Thanksgiving). What would you suggest?

your choice is the first week in Oct? or thanksgiving week, I would pick thanksgiving week over a hot early oct hunt

Yep, Thanksgiving week then. The rut should still be going on then at least to some extent.

Thanks..........Thanksgiving week in 2007 it is! (Now I've got to find an area to hunt!) The farm I hunted on this year is not allowing any hunting next year.....
