huntinfool, sure is. It kills me not being able to hunt there anymore. That area was incredible for deer and turkey both. You know where Bear Creek Church is?

Indianahick, I use to live in T.Haute. I still do a lot of dove hunting in Sullivan County. Unfortunately, none of the farmers there I know have any woods, it is all tillable. I use to hunt a place right on the Vigo/Vermillion County line. I haven't been there for a couple years, and the last time I talked to the owner he was in pretty bad health. Assuming he still owns the farm, it is possibility for you. I killed quite a few deer on that farm. The only problem was, the owner gave permission to almost everyone who asked. He is the type of guy that assumes if he has a bunch of hunters, then more deer will be killed. His place is 60 or 70 acres I would guess, half of that being wooded. So there were years where there was a piece of orange every 100 yards(or at least it seemed like it). I have no idea if the place is still like that or not, or if he still owns it. Other than dove hunting, thats all I know of in that area.
Oh, and ya gotta love them Hoosiers. Just imagine if they still had JJ.

I live in Lake Co. and own land in Porter Co., but hunt in Iowa & Kansas where the big boys live, due to our poor buck management. Hope everyone has a happy new year.
