A little bit early for that , but the does that have already bred will be returning to their feeding pattern and the boys won't be far behind them .

Kevin I had some bucks behind my house rutting in the last week in OCT. I know that deer are not all the same, but I do not believe that weather has anything to do with thier rutting cycle. I believe it all is about photoperiod. The amount of daylight the day contains. IE autumn solstice. So 28 days from lets say Oct. 31 puts me right at the ML opener. But feeding or breeding which ever mode they are in will work for me as long as they move. I hope that we can get rid of all this wind!!!!!!!!! Good luck

I don't mean to be a smart ass, TurkeyStalker....but...June and December are the only months that carry a solstice. You are talking about an equinox (equal-night)...specifically the autumnal equinox in September.

I'm ready, still have my bonus tag to fill, and will be buying my ML tag tonight probably. Hubby has yet to fill a tag this year, at least I got that little button first week of bow...
I'm hoping this weekend and next prove to be productive for the both of us, especially him. He bought a new ML last weekend, took mine and his Tuesday and got them dead on at 150... says he's got it dialed in so I could take a 200 yd shot with excellent accuracy. HERE's HOPIN'! I am thinking of going to 150 grains. I haven't decided yet though. I've never shot more than 100 and I don't want to be laying on the ground behind my treestand. I can't imagine it will kick anymore than the 12ga. does with 2 3/4 it... I shoot that just fine!
Anyway, good luck to everyone, hope to see some nice ones posted up!

"Sorry I can only be perfect 6 out of the 7 days in a week."
lol I like that.
BHG. 150gr shouldn't kick close to a 2¾. When I've tried 150gr, I've never got that great of an improvement over 100gr. My Knight Revolution has very little recoil with 100gr Pyrodex.
