Billy Davis Tourny odds and ends
1) A big thanks to Kendall for making the plaques. I went out and bought a $60 scroll sawand he jumped right in and made the 11 oak plaques, arrows and metal points.
2) A big thanks to Luke for taking the door prize donation responsibilities for me. He did a great job and we'll have hundreds of dollars worth of door prizes at this tournament and our others.
3) A big thanks to our sponsors. Muzzy, AMS, Natural Predator, Firenock, F&D Archery, Bowfishing Extreme, Innerloc and Cajun Archery.
4) A big thanks to everybody who's planning on coming. We expect this to be our biggest tournament yet. Besides those of us in Illinois, I've had folks from MO, IN, KY and TN tell me they're coming.
5) Bring raingear. The forecast is forbetween 30%-70% chance of rain (depending on which weather site you believe) A little rain shouldn't be much of a problem. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather.
6) We are providing dinner starting at 5pm. You may wish to bring your own drinks and bringing a bag of chips or other snack food to share would be nice. Remember, no alcohol once the tourney starts.
7) Drive safe, have fun!
Signs we made up so even deer_predator wouldn't miss the turn into the park.
One of the first place trophies:
