Hope it's not too simple. I just wanted to make something quick and still functional.

Very nice!
Glad to see you made the show and the meeting Steve and Mark S.
...and God bless your wives for sitting through the discussion of club business into the wee hours.

Hey, that's a Darton Viper on the bottom isn't it? Many a deer ended up in my freezer with that one. BTW, that is the nicest rack that I've seen in a long time and that includes all those at the Deer and Turkey Classic. I wish I had those carpentry skills, darn you.

Thanks Rob.I'm trying to figure out how to put a picture or poster on it to make it a little more attractive.

That bow is a Darton, but a Lightning. It's my first Quality-bow. I bought it in '94 and I've killed all my deer with it.

I didn't think to mention in the original post that I'm giving this to the club to be auctioned off for club-funds, to help pay for our booths and other club expenses. It's all I can do for the club right now.

I'm making another one for the club, and then I'm going to make a few to sell, just to help ME pay for materials and some new router-bits, so I can make more.

Wait till you see the one I make for me.

That's very generous of you, and greatway to help out.
(now watch, I'll probably end up buying the thing. )

You got a great rack Steve!
Not sure it beats all the ones at the show though.

Steve, of course you're right, I didn't look at that hatchetcam well enough. That Lightening was one of if not the fastest bow in its time but it was tough to pull back, (too difficult for me and so I had a couple of Vipers). BTW, thanks for the donation of the rack, it will bring in some nice $ for sure.

Looks great Steve-o. I think you should add a mirror behind it with an etching of our logo on the mirror. Get right on that, would you?

That's what I thought. I bought one of those back in 1993, if memory serves. Named it "pipe bomb". Dang thing sounded like a large explosion going off. I always figured if I missed a deer with it, the sound would still scare them to death.
