This is your chance to get to Africa and not break the bank!!! This trip is with Africa Maximum Safaris and is for 2 hunters and 2 observers. The trip is 5 days in the Northwest Province of South Africa. All meals and lodging at the camp are included. Weapon to be used: rifle only 270 caliber or higher. Ammunition limit is 200 rounds per gun. You can bring a shotgun for bird hunting.

Too high for a total of 4 animals. If I read it right there are 2 impala and 2 blesbok. Average trophy fee for impala and blesbok are about $250 or so. Unless the trophy fees are really, really cheap for other game, I'd pass. Especially when you add in at least $1000 per person in airfare just to get to Africa. Toss in a few animals like kudu, wildebeest, gemsbok at around $800 each and this hunt will run way over $12K.

There are better package hunt deals out there. I've done Africa 5 times and this one just doesn't sound good to me.

At $3K this is a pretty decent deal. What other game is available and what are the trophy fees? What about CITES permits? Lion, Ele, Rhino, Leopard, Bontebok all require CITES if taken. Is the trophy prep fees for shipping included? What about the VAT for RSA? Is that also included? What incidentals are included?
