I have some fantastic drop camp hunts for the 2nd and 3rd rifle seasons here in Colorado. On this hunt, you and your party are packed into a fully set up wall tent camp via horseback. The camp is equipped with everything you will need during your hunt and you are checked in on regularly and anything harvested will be packed out from the kill site. You will be hunting an area that only allows foot traffic, and the camps are set in beautiful wilderness settings and you will start hunting right from camp. Cost is 1400.00 plus the cost of the tag which is available over the counter. We have experienced some very good success rates on these hunts over the years, but it is elk hunting and you will have to put in your time and efforts to have the best chance at success.
