going on a trip!
Whats the best place to go on a hunt in the USA? We love running dogs and we are thinking about going on a mountain lion hunt. They sound like alot of fun! Tell me where and what your favorite thing is to hunt!

Well with all the different species that Colorado has, I would have to say it is one of the top states in the U.S. I have some incredible mountain lion hunts here in Colorado, with some fantastic hound work and success rates nearing that 100% mark year after year. Of course I am a bit bias, as I do live here, but it would have to be at the top of anyones list. If you are ever looking for some incredible hunts in Colorado, give me a call or drop me an email.

For me it has to be Alaska. It's just a different world up there and the unique types of game combined with the unbelievable scenery can't be beat. As for what type of game is the best, anything up there! It's more about the experience in The Great Land, moose, sheep, caribou, grizz take your pick!
You can see a lot of Alaska pics on my website, www.deadonoutdooradventures.com. I also offer some top flight lion hunts as well. If I can make one recommendation on your lion hunt regardless of where you go, make sure you book an on call, flexible date type of hunt. This way you get the good weather you need. You won't be sorry! Best of luck

Well thanks guys. We really actually always said we was going to Alaska but we just cant afford it. We always said if we went there we would never return home! It looks like beautiful country up there and with all the hunting oppertunities i dont think we would ever be bored! We are really looking towards the cat hunt. We actually run bobcat here in maine with our dogs and i just harvested one this january! It was only 31lbs and was super happy with it! I could imagine what i would be if i got a mountain lion!

You're welcome! Alaska is a magical place that everyone should enjoy if they want to. So don't just write it off because it might be too expensive. In reality a good Alaska trip can be done for less than a most mountain lion hunts. NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS Anyway, take care!
