NW Missouri turkey and trophy deer hunts
Hi all!
We are Mid West Sporting Properties, LLC and are located in NW Missouri, between Hatfield, MO and Mt Ayr Iowa. We have some great openings for the 2012 Spring Turkey Season and 2012 Deer Season.
Price for turkey is 600/person for a 4 day hunt and includes two birds per MDC regulation; and Deer Hunts start around 1900/per person and are for a 5-day hunt.
We have 1300 acres in MO to hunt (many of which are within 1/4mile of the IA border) and 400 acres in IA - Zone 4.

In 2011 we had a 50% killout in turkey and deer with trophy restrictions. What a year! In addition we have taken three official Boone and Crocket bucks in the past four years on only two of our farms and two of those three were taken by bow. We've been managing these farms since 2005 and believe are best years of hunting are still in front of us!
I was just thinking - I should call our 2011 deer season a 60% kill out as we had one undersized buck killed and a real nice legal 130" 8-point shot, but eventually lost - that would mean that 100% of our guys pulled the trigger (whether release or gun) on a trophy whitetail! 100% of our turkey hunters either left with a bird or had a bead on one and it just didn't pan out...
But it is unfair to call it 100% success rate (for deer) - even though we run very high success rates each and every year. Typically, 60%-80% for deer and higher for turkey)-
We just don' put the volume of hunters through that many outfitters and guides do - we want a smaller, more personalized operation giving the farms lots of time to settle down between hunts - not just a single day (between groups) like many in the business.
